Any printed material in a film for example; credits at the start of a film, is typography. The typography includes the color, font, size, and typeface. The colors used for the typography of a crime drama are often very, contrasting to the dark colors of the shots in the background, the colors used most are white and red because the white stands out much more making a clearer for the audience to view. Also maybe the reason red is used to represent the blood, which could indicate death later on in the film. In addition, typography really engages the audience and develops anticipation for the viewers. Moreover, Bright, vibrant colors are not often used for the font as it does not reflect the mood and feel of the film.
